The 54 Hudson script has a slant to the script so one most likely goes on the left side and one on the right? This is just a wag..

The 241173 is the 1954 Hornet part no. The 3142862 is the AMC part no for the 1955 model.

Thanks for the information on the numbers. The parts seem to be exactly the same on the outside.

Both Scripts are in outstanding condition and I would like sell both for $150 or one for $75. Attached are pictures of both for your review.

It would probably good if you showed the pretty side, as well.

Here is the 54 right side script. I see no pitting and the pins are warn but usable. It looks to have been rechromed. I am asking $75.00. I am going to try and send some better pictures. If they don't come through contact me at dkcarrol@yhti.net.
