Does anyone know of a modern 6V equivalent (Napa etc.)for a '50 Commodore 6 starter solenoid...the kind that mounts on the starter? Terry

Try Cole-Hersee # 24039. This one is for 48-50 starter mounted solenoids. For dust shield mounted solenoids use Cole-Hersee 24041. Both for 6 volt applications.
