Hello I am building a 1949 2 door coupe and would like to install a 1951 nose on the car will it fit ??????? If it wil if you have one for sale contact me. I am building a pacemaker. If any one has a complete 51 hornet 2 door coupe I may be interested in that also. What I think I figured is the 1948 49. 50 wheel base is 124". In 51 52 the hornet. Was 124" but the pacemaker shrank by 5 inches.
S o I am trying to figure out if the. 51. Front end. Would work.

51 Pacemaker front clip won't fit on a '49. Different wheel bases - 1949 is 124" and Pacemaker is 119". The difference is in the length of the front clip - something, off the top of my head, like 5 inches.
Other bodies might fit - Super and Commodore 6, Hornet and Commodore 8 for example are on he 124" wb in 1950,1951 and 1952 - 1953 Hornet is also 124" while the rest of 53 are 119" except Jet.
If I'm wrong on this somebody will let me know. Back in the 70's Art Adams had a 54 Hornet with a 53 front clip - called it a 53½ so it can be done.

Alex-
I made a couple of corrections in your post, notably two measurements that needed adjusting. It now reads correctly.
