I have a 51 Comm6 with a stuck clutch. I have drained the fluid, filled it with solvent, let it sit, filled it with trans fluid and it is still stuck.
Please help.
Thank You

thanks for replying but I can't seem to find it
Steven,
Have you tried putting the car in gear, pushing the clutch pedal down, and then pressing the starter button (with a good battery)? Often, a car will jerk, and then the clutch will be disengaged. If this works, the clutch will most likely not be smooth right away, but with some use will become normal. Some flushing to see if any fragments of cork come out might be good. For a while, using this procedure when starting the car may be necessary, since the clutch may stick a little bit when the car has been sitting.
The first time I start my car each spring, I do this, because the clutch has gotten a bit stuck during the winter.

Steven, did you make a stick and prop the clutch pedal down when you did this?. If not, make a stick and prop it down. This will relieve the pressure from the disc, and allow the fluid/solvent or whatever is in it, to penetrate into cork, and usually make it pop loose.
Thank You...I will give i a try....
I used acetone, fill, turn over by hand to coat disc, prop clutch pedal down. Turn it over maybe twice a day, should pop in a day or two, then drain and refill with atf,run it and drain and refill and your good. Keep pedal propped .
Hi all and thanks for all the tips. Wedging the clutch pedal and filling with
acetone worked. What a great feeling when it popped loose. Thanks again
