Here are some pictures of what parts came with the rear speaker option.
I presume that the kit was for a stepdown.

According to the Parts Interchangeability Manual it's for the '48 &'49 Sedan, Brougham and Club Coupes....odd that it excluded the '50s because that manual goes to '50. There is a conflict there with the '48-'54 master Parts catalog in that it says the kit is for those models from '48 to '54, as one might expect.
