I like the car, love the girl, but I'm afraid of those high heels on the fender...But I'm sure she was forgiven for that...Thanks, Michel

Don't those look like radial tires. Yes! I did notice the girl, I would have had her clean the spokes for putting her shoes on the fender.

Reminds me of the Miss Hudson pictures the North Texas Chapter published in their newsletter back in the 70's. Nice looking car - and young lady.

Bruce - Great Photo!!!! I copied it and used it in a notice for our January Meet here at the Grand Canyon Chapter.
Do you have any information on the Photo and or the car, errrr the "model" too? Mike Cherry may be interested in useing it in a future HET Calendar.
Thanks Tom Conner

Wouldn't those shorts have been considered a little scandalous back then? Tom and Alex, was it scandalous back then? 😛

Oh, I don't know Aaron - the New England Chapter published a photo (in answer to the North Texas Miss Hudsons) of a very pretty, personable young lady - topless!!!! We did have fun leading up to publication!!!!

The photo was dated 1929, presumably taken for a Spokane, Wa. promotion. Here is another from 1936:(AGAIN with the heels on the car!!!)

Time Flys when you're having "fun"! But that's further back than I remember - I think

Does anyone know what it says on the banner she's wearing? Between that and the ~ era of the photo, it's very possible that her identit y could be determined. (I'm assuming the "Miss Hudson" title is humor).

The young lady would be near to 80 today? Alex, did you ever date her?

You missed it by 40 years, Brownie - the young (note "young") lady was my daughter and
she was two or three at the time - she's 41 now. Oh, didn't we have a fun time leading up to publication.
Spread it over 3 or 4 issues of the chapter newsletter building it up. Curiously there were a
few letters saying they couldn't wait. We published the photo and had a great laugh over
it.
Man, those were the fun days (early 1970's) - before money got into it.

Ahem... Alex, I assume you mean before "money got into" the old car hobby - NOT the New England Chapter.

Either that or the fine Tennesee whiskey is causing a tad bit of confusion :S
