I'm a new member from Finland. First I have to apogolize my poor english knowledge.
I own a 1952 Hudson Hornet 4dr sedan with 308 engine. It has single carb. I bought a new twin intake for it, but noticed it doesn't fit with current exhaust manifold castings number 300082.
New intake has castings number 5325118 and I have now understood it's for 1955-56 cars.
I have tried to find an exhaust manifold which fits with my new twin intake or a new twin intake which fits with current exhaust manifold.
I have tried by google round the world but found nothing.
Could someone of you help?
Best regards
Jaakko Kuru

Jaakko, you are correct that you must either find a '55-56 exhaust manifold or trade your intake manifold for a '51-54 type. The '55-56 exhaust will solve your problem, except that the position of the exhaust pipe flange is slightly different for the '55-56 manifold. So you will have to have an exhaust system shop to make a slight modification to the front end of the exhaust pipe. Post your needs on the "open" forum as well as this one, and before long someone will respond. The bad news is that these manifolds are heavy, so mailing cost is pretty high. Good luck!
