I've looked high and low for a new trunk lock cylinder assembly for my 51 Club Coupe (it finally arrived) and can't find a source.
Does anyone know of a vendor?
Thank You,
Dean

I can't think of a specific vendor but I do see Hudson lock cylinders from time to time at Hudson flea markets and on Ebay. You would of course want to find the original Hudson part number (there are parts manuals on this website) and you might then want to contact some of the parts vendors who advertise in the WTN classifieds.

I did find the part number 225711 for the cylinder and keys as an assembly in the body manual. I did not see a number for the cylinder by itself.

Dean, it sort of makes sense they would sell the cylinder and keys as a unit - without the keys it ain't gonna work!!!!!

Hudsonly,

There are lock cylinders (you key them) for sale here and there. There are lock cylinders with keys.

Lock cylinders with wafer tumblers are easily rekeyed, and pin tumbler cylinders are also easily rekeyed.

Take the old cylinder to a good lock shop and you may be surprised what all is there for the asking (and a little money).
