Thanks,Norm.
I will start by calling NAPA.They have books
that go way back and may be able to cross reference.

Bad news is that Rock is wrong and NAPA won't have a clue. Hang on to your cores as you will need to have them sleeved. Don't let go of those Aluminum pistons with the steel button, either.
I'd love to be wrong on this one.

I think that with NAPA it depends on what part of the country you're in at the time you go looking for parts. It seems to me, from what I've see, that NAPA stores in, for example, farming country will have what a store in, say Chicago, won't have.
Another problem is most employees are so young they will just get that glazed look in their eyes and ask "Parts for a what!!" Back in the 80's I had a 1969 Rambler 440 wagon and was looking for upper trunions for it. Young fellow was looking thru the parts books - looking and looking. Finally he asked me "Was Rambler made by Chrysler??" I told him not in 1969 it wasn't.

I use the NAPA ProLink part of their system so that I can check for nationwide availability (or un-availability) and there are none available...haven't been for a long time. Dorman reproduced them but I haven't been able to find them there, either.
It occurred to me that I should mention that a similar problem exists with the rear cylinders in the event that you work your way back there, too. The cylinders are still available but in a different configuration. The casting and cups are correct but the pistons and boots are peculiar to the Jet, so save those parts!!!
