Hey, Hudsonites!
I am about to install all new glass on my 53 Hornet sedan. Want to get it right the first time. The framed flat glass has already been installed in the frames and setting channels. In the Body Service manual, body sealer and windshield sealer are to be used to seal the front windshield. What are the modern versions of sealers you use for this? Are all the stainless reveal moldings around the car to be set into the window openings with a sealant, or just the windshield? What do you recommend to bed the troughs for the wing windows? Any other suggestions for getting my stripped-down car water-tight with respect to window openings, or any areas to focus on? Any suggestions appreciated!
Hudsonly,
Dave
