Just had to tell about finally getting to the 1954 Hornet I bought and found an H.E.T. sticker on the window! So I may as well find out if Michael Protz Jr. might have been the member.He owned the stash of parts and cars I bought.His wife didn't know if he was a member or if it was previous owner.As the paperwork was just sent in I don't have numbers for tonight,but will have the door cleared tommorrow so I can open for first time to get some.I did find out that this car has some special engine,and the mileage is actually 29,000.Can't wait to see if you have records of this car.I have to say how strange it was that I joined your club,as yours was the first sight I looked at,never belonged to a club in my 59 years after owning 80 cars before these two gems in the rough. I want to thank everyone who has responded and can't wait to continue with all your help.It will probably be snowing before I'm organized enough to Know what I have.Thanks again,Dan Seamans
Why not go to the registry keeper for the 1954's and list your car there. You can then ask the keeper if nay previous owners have bothered to register this car, and in this way you can learn who owned it previously.
The registries are listed under INFO / VEHICLE REGISTRIES at the top of the screen.
Michael and Dorothy Protz were listed in the 2005-2007 Roster.
The listed 4 cars, 37 Terraplane;53 Hornet, and 2 54 Hornets.
"Ric"
Thanks for the info,Dorthy's memory isn't what it was,my friend got the Terraplane,one 54 sold a few years ago
Once you post the serial number I can tell you what month it was built.

Just got titles back,1953 vin#7c265470,1954#73099737
7C 265470 was built in July 1953 - 3515 cars built that month;
7 309737 was built in August 1954 - 3858 produced that month.
Both, of course, are Hornets.
