Hello folks,
Finally got my '50 Pacemaker (232) on the road, and the thermostat failed, causing the engine to overheat. Pulled over--no major problems. Now, though, my mechanic is having a devil of a time locating an aftermarket coolant temperature sender for the temp gauge. Does anyone know of a source for this part? If not, is the next step to locate one in someone's inventory of old parts?
Thanks much!
Curt

If it is the 1950 engine they used an Echlin TS-6153, in 1951 to 55 the sender part is TS-4. I thought that the 48 to 50s were difficult to find.
