thank you, i keep in touch when i gonna restore the car,..
but its look it has the Original color, but i am not sure yet...cause its oversprayed in the past.
thank you, greetings from holland...
Hello,
Anyone familiar with new color numbers for French Gray and Bali Blue,
The ditzer numbers i have, see below, but nobody can verify them with new numbers of dupont, ppg or what ever....
see below my links:
http://hudsonterraplane.com/tech/1941/1941-54_hudson_ditzler_paint_specs.pdf
or
http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?type=paint&paint=36980&ditzler=30662&smodel=&syear=1951&smanuf=Hudson&sname=French%20Gray
These are old numbers, they out of the system...(they told me)....
Any help to get my 1951 hollywood painted in Original colors are very welcome.
Best regards Erik (The Netherlands).

Erik, go to autocolor and plug in your info. If worse comes to worse, order a small amount in the type of paint you want and have it scanned locally to create a paint formula you can buy locally.
My PPG paint supplier created a modern formula for seal gray and toro red. Basecoat/clearcoat and they are dead on.
hi hudsonions,
i checked on the hinge today...the only thing i found was 78 number stamped in it?
Anybody help?
thanks Erik
Hello Terry,
thanks,
yes, the only digit number on the hinge tells me 78.
The car was oversprayed, but i found also grey under the rear lights, and i guess also kind of original blue under the oversprayed blue....
So i hope we are 100% right to get the hudson in original shape back on the road.
thanks,....grt Erik
