There are 4 springs under the front seat; two are connected to the slide assy. and two connected to a tab welded to the floor(each side) that go to the back bottom of the seat in front of the rear footrest.
I am getting slide assy back into working order, lub'ed, etc. AND the last two springs are not there. These are there to give the seat some boost when sliding it forward. You can push seat back but its not easy to 'pull' it forward without these springs to help.
If anyone has a seat out and springs to look at, I would like to know how long the springs are(hook to hook) and diameter of the spring coil. Would like to be close when I go buy one. Many thanks for checking this for me.
OH, you can see the tab at the floor if you look under the outer seat edge between the slide and the door sill-you might could judge about how long the spring was and diameter just by looking with a flashlight!!!
