I have a 1953 super wasp convertible that I am having trouble shifting gears. I am not sure if its the clutch, the transmission or the shifter so I am looking for a knowledgeable mechanic in the New York City area. Any recommendations???

Can you tell us any more about your car? There was a time not too long ago when '53 SWCV's were rumored to not exist.
