Looking for a source for a blue Hudson Hornet glovebox insert plate that would fit a 53 Hornet. Willing to trade a decent green one. Cannot find a source in repro table nor in HET store. Any leads appreciated. There was one on Ebay in April via a ScottC from Ca, but I could not find this name in roster.

What do the '53 ones look like anyway? I need a blue one for my '52, but I don't know if they changed the colors for '53. For '52 it's supposed to be dark blue center with a white outside edge. I saw a couple of these on eBay not too long ago. But they were too scratched up for me.
Not sure Zack, but if it's blue and fits, any Hornet year, I'm good with it. Originality will have to wait.
I found a blue one for a '51 in John O'Halloran's corn crib, but I don't think you'd want that one. It has the dark blue outside with a sort of coppery color center. I keep finding photos of '53s with the blue '52 glovebox emblem. I'm guessing they re-used it for the '53s with the blue interior. Hopefully we can find 'em!
