Any source for the front door window vent regulator gears for 53 Hornet? In the WTN I see a source for brass gears for a 29, but nothing for stepdowns. Any one reproing these things. If not. I'll do the Walt swap-the-two-gears-and-get-by job, but this is suboptimal. I appreciate any leads.

If you don't have a list of all the Hudson repro parts suppliers catalogs go to my Hudson Repro Parts webpage at http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf . I also list many repro parts being made in small quantities by people who don't put out catalogs or have web pages.

Well, actually, I don't list the Eshelmans in my list under the "windows and doors" category, because they put out a catalog of their plastic parts. (Whenever someone puts out a catalog, I don't attempt to list the hundreds of items they sell, I just give the address of their on-line catalog instead). The problem is that -- in amongst all those plastic parts in the Eshelman's catalog -- is one metal gear for vent windows. So they sort of "fall through the cracks" in my logic, since the gears are the "oddballs" in their otherwise-plastic catalog.
I'll fix that in the next update of the page.
