I have a '53 Hornet with a hydromatic tranny. There is a 1/2" threaded hole in the very top of the tranny. What is supposed to go into this hole? I would like to solve this before I install the center floor pan.

It's for installing a lifting ring. Ignore it. it should be a blind hole.
