Hi Everyone,

I need to replace the bolts and rubber bushings on the lower shock mounts (where the bottom of the shocks attach to the car) in the rear of the car. Anyone know a modern eqivalent or where I might source such parts?

If you have no success finding an original, consider making your own. Surely you have the other side to copy. Use a GRADE 8 bolt, then some washers, a sleeve{can be a nut} and an locking hardened nut. The hardest to find is the bushing. Go online and look for polyurethane bushings. Remember that you can turn these with a drill and a box cutter to what ever size you will need. Will need two to put together. The diameter on the largest part of the bushing is 1.5"; that is necessary to keep the shock from sliding sideways.
Good Luck. Looking forward to the 'Great Trip Story'.

If you lost both of them and have no reference, advise and I will measure what you need.
