Have any of you old-timer California guys ever come across this coupe? In 1965 it sat at a junkyard on old 66 at the west end of Barstow. Still had '46 plates; yard owner said a lady left it there in '46 for him to fix a blown head gasket, and she never returned. Tried to talk him into selling me the car, but he wouldn't budge. Said the hated words: "My son wants to do something with it some time." Owner was touchy about Hudson Club guys who had stopped by and made ridiculously low offers. The car was still there in late '68 when we left the area.
