Could not adjust right side mirror so I could see correctly; very dangerous. Solved problem with a Wal-Mart online item; 3.75" diameter. Stick-on convex mirror will rotate before installing to get the right angle. The 'original' could not get the right angle. Am happy now--FYI.
Did the same on my '51. Checked a couple of truck stops when traveling, since they have gobs of that kind of stuff. Found one that fit perfectly.
I will have to visit them now since I really need a 4" and need to paint the black plastic metallic. Tks, Park~~~
EDIT: Note that the one above is not just a stick-on convex mirror; which wouldn't help me at all or maybe marginally. it is an angled stick-on that is like moving the mirror 1/2" more toward the door so as to see behind you and not off to the side. My mirror would not shift anymore and was basically useless. That one works to solve the problem although it is not the most aesthetic addition.
