How do you remove the pins from a 1949 Hudson Commodore Horn Ring? Do the pins slide out, or are the pins pressed into the bracket and that brackiet pulls up and out? Prior advice was to gently slide pins out, but wondered how to this.

Hi Gary,
On my Commodore one must depress the horn ring and then push the pins out.
They are not a tight fit. I believe the pins have/had hair pin type retainers to keep them from moving when pushing the horn ring.
