Folks, we are going to get some high-powered exposure the weekend of May 3-4. The Historical Vehicle Association is producing a big event in Washington, D.C., with the honored vehicles displayed on the National Mall, first time they've ever done an auto event there. They've selected representative significant vehicles from several decades, and for the fifties it's Ed Souers' (formerly Jack Miller's) Herb Thomas '52 Hornet race car. Accompanying the car there will be NASCAR Hall of Fame Historian Buz McKim. Buz was formerly NASCAR's statistician for many years, and he knew all the NASCAR Hornet drivers personally.
Attached is the draft agenda for the event, which I've received from Buz McKim. Sam Jackson has two sons living in D.C., and he says they don't know it yet, but they're going to be taking pic's for the WTN!
Looks good Park -
