Can someone tell me what the tooth counts are for the ring gear and pinion gear used on the 1951 automatic transmission cars with 3.58 axle ratio (3 7/12 to 1)?
Thank you.

I don't have one apart, but the fraction digits are stamped on the face of the flange of the carrier. You would be looking for the 7/12 .
The ratio is also stamped on the ring gear outer diameter/face.
Don't have one accessable to photograph.
